Lauren Conrad + William Tell

I have to praise the cast of The Hills and The City for my love of fashion. Many years ago I was going through a very tough time, what got me through was sitting in my room for hours watching these shows back to back. I idolised LC and her friends and it gave me the push I needed to study fashion and also intern at magazines, I even got to meet Whitney Port at MBFF a few years ago, I told her how much she inspired me, she gave me a hug and wished me all the best for the future. So you can imagine how excited I was when LC announced her engagement to ex-Something Corporate guitarist William Tell. Something Corporate are up in the list of my favourite bands, so this was like a fairy tale come true for me.

When photos started to leak online of her dress, I sat on my iPad ready and waiting to see it all come together. I was even contemplating getting my friends in LA to send me a copy of Us weekly because it had A 30 PAGE spread, but I waited and yesterday was my lucky day.

The wedding was truly a fairy tale. The wedding had a rustic feel and an ongoing theme of apples. The theme was picked when LC found a brass apple at a flea market, she realised that her future hubby had the same name as the famous Swiss who shot an arrow into an apple upon a boys head.

LC baked apple pies to suit the theme and give the wedding a homely feel. There was spiked lemonade and cocktails combining brandy and apple cider, vintage hankys, amazing flowers and a whole lot of other things Pinterest worthy. Even the wedding gift Tell gave LC fitted the theme- an apple locket, inside it featured a piece of the menu from their first date.

LC wore a stunning Badgley Mishchka dress, a design she changed at the last minute when she decided she couldn't pull off long sleeves. The dress however did feature a beautiful 10 feet long train. Her dress was complimented by her 10 beautiful bridesmaids all in a Paper Crown dress of their own choosing. Of course fellow Laguna Beach/ The Hills co star Lo Bosworth was one of the bridesmaids, proving that true friendship can withstand the highs and lows of reality tv.

To make the wedding even more perfect Tell serenaded his new wife with Frankie Valli's "Can't Take My Eyes Off You'.

Can they just stop! ❤️
