It’s taken me two days to actually look at anything MBFWA
related, besides the instagram photos that keep invading my life. I badly wish I
could be there taking in the atmosphere and seeing all the wonders first hand,
hopefully this will be a reality in the years to come, but right now I will
have to make do with what the internet hands to me.
Carla Zampatti started MBFWA off with a bang. I was going to sit here and tell you about the mostly monochrome colour palette with pops of colour, the long hemlines etc but that’s just rehashing everything you would have already been told.

I will tell you though that I find Carla Zampatti truly inspiring. She
never stops building her empire, she has designed cars, uniforms for Australia post
and when she is not designing she is an active member of various foundations.
It amazing what big dreams and determination can achieve, Carla has gone from one small boutique in Surry Hills to now 30 boutiques across Australia. She is an excellent business woman and a talented designer. With 49 years’ experience in the industry, it doesn't look like she will slow down anytime soon.
